West Bromwich 1968 FA Cup Final. - the legendary Jeff Astle finally gives the Cup to West Brom with the only goal of the game after extra time! Jeff Astle scored 137 goals in 292 games for West Brom between 1964 and 1974, in 1970 Astle scored in Albion's 2-1 defeat by Manchester City in the League Cup final, becoming the first player to score in the finals of both of the major English cup competitions.

West Bromwich Albion 1935 Cup Final. The 1935 FA Cup Final was contested by Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich Albion at Wembley. Sheffield Wednesday won 4–2, with goals scored by Jack Palethorpe, Mark Hooper and Ellis Rimmer (2). Wally Boyes and Teddy Sandford scored West Brom's goals.

West Bromwich Albion 1969 - 1971. Jeff Astle (pictured) played 361 games for West Bromwich Albion, scoring 174 goals, and was one of the most iconic players in the history of the club. He also won five caps for England, but did not score any goals. At the height of Astle's Albion career - some say on the evening of the 1968 FA Cup Final triumph - the words "ASTLE IS THE KING" appeared in large white letters on the brickwork of Primrose Bridge, which carries Cradley Road over a canal in Netherton, in the heart of the Black Country. West Bromwich Albion 1931 F.A Cup Winners. The 1931 FA Cup Final was contested by West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham at Wembley. West Brom won 2–1, with both of their goals scored by W. G. Richardson. Joe Bradford had equalised matters, before Richardson put the Baggies ahead again sixty seconds later. The match was reported in the Birmingham Sports Argus which produced that evenings edition in a special run on blue paper in place of the normal pink.

West Bromwich Albion 1978 away. Laurie Cunningham (pictured) joined West Bromwich Albion in 1977, where, under manager Johnny Giles, he teamed up with another black player, Cyrille Regis, and the following year (under Ron Atkinson) with Brendon Batson. This was the first time an English team simultaneously fielded three black players, and Cunningham, Batson and Regis became known as the Three Degrees after a popular British music act, famous at the time. West Bromwich Albion became one of the most attractive and exciting English sides in the late 1970s and Cunningham soon attracted attention. He became the first black player to wear an England shirt at any level in England under-21s' friendly against Scotland at Bramall Lane on April 27, 1977, scoring on his debut. He subsequently earned six full England caps

West Bromwich Albion 1975. Tony 'bomber' Brown (pictured) joined West Bromwich Albion as a youth in 1961 and turned professional in 1963. In the late 1960s and early 1970s Brown was part of an Albion team that built a reputation as a successful cup side, winning the 1966 Football League Cup Final and the 1968 FA Cup Final and finishing as runners-up in the League Cup in 1967 and 1970. He was the top scorer in Division One in 1970–71 and received his only England cap at the end of that season. After relegation in 1973, he helped Albion to win promotion back to Division One in 1976. He scored 279 goals in 720 competitive games for Albion, both club records.

West Bromwich Albion 1954 Cup Final. The 1954 FA Cup Final was contested by West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End at Wembley. West Brom won 3–2, with goals from Ronnie Allen (2) and Frank Griffin. Angus Morrison and Charlie Wayman scored for Preston.
