Newcastle United

Today Newcastle United are famous for their black & white stripes but the Newcastle side of 1881 played in a red and white striped shirt just like today’s Sunderland! In 1894 when they adopted black and white stripes to avoid frequent colour clashes. Since then the kit has remain virtual unchanged, with only the thickness of the stripes on the shirt changing. We have plenty of great retro Newcastle shirts for you to choose from, in our opinion the ‘80 Year Celebration’ shirt is one of the best retro shirts of any club!
