Manchester United were the first English team to win the European Cup, beating Benfica 4–1 at Wembley in 1968. Two more European cups followed in 1999 when United beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in Barcelona and again in 2008 when the real red army travelled to Moscow to watch United beat Chelsea.
Man Utd hold the record for the most F.A. cup titles (11) and are now level with Liverpool’s on 18 league wins.
