Famous for the Tangerine shirts Blackpool Football Club sports one of the most unusual kit colours in the game. The team haven’t always worn this iconic kit, in the early years after the clubs formation Blackpool wore a number of different coloured kits including: Red Shirts & White Shorts, Blue & White Stripes, White Shirts & Short and also a Belgium Flag design which was worn in support of the large number of Belgium Refugees who settled in Blackpool during the first world war.

Blackpool 1970's. Terry Alcock (pictured) was a versatile player born in the Potteries in 1946, he played 112 times for Port Vale before joining Blackpool, where he scored 21 goals in 196 games. Brief stints at Bury, Blackburn, Port Vale and Halifax followed before he played one season in North America with the Portland Timbers in 1977.
