Blackburn Rovers
The Blackburn Rovers shirt has remained virtually unchanged since the club became a founder member of the Football League in 1888, The club’s halved shirts (also called “quartered”) were initially white with Oxford blue but changed in 1882 to Cambridge blue. The blue section of the shirt became darker in the Edwardian period but the light blue was briefly resurrected in the 1990s.
