Germany

Germany's record in international football is amazing. They have been European Championship finalists five and world cup winners three times (1972, 1980 and 1996), an achievement marked by the three gold stars above their shirt badge.

Before unification Germany had fielded three different ethnic German sides in international competitions. West Germany, East Germany and the little know Saarland team, who played only 19 international games between 1950 and 1956.

The White and Black home kit colour scheme is based on the old Prussian flag and the Green away colours represent the flag of saxony.
